- Edgewood Pool & Community Center

πŸ’¦ We are CLOSED for the 2020 Season πŸ’¦

We are heartbroken for our community. So many have lost everything and may be displaced and in dangerous situations. We know the pool is probably the last thing on your minds right now but we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge everyone who made this summer possible and created a bright spot for our community.

Thank you to our lifeguards who stepped up to make this season safe and fun,.
Thank you for our hard-working board who adapted to each new challenge quickly and with grace.
Thank YOU, our members who provided support, feedback, and extra funding!

We realize our Summer Boost did not pan out the way we planned, and due to air quality predictions for the remainder of the weekend, and early next week we will be closing for the season as of today.

We will be repurposing the funds we raised to address damages caused by the storm as well as facilities repairs we were unable to address with our budget this summer:

  • new pool house door, new guards chairs, and repairing our new shower station floor.

Thank you all for the wonderful 2020 season! We'll see you next summer!

Please note:  we have adapted our protocols and policies according to governmental regulations and will go above and beyond to keep our community safe. Updated Pool rules and policies according to state regulations are  available here

Edgewood Pool is a family friendly swimming pool located in the heart of South Eugene.

Anyone can sign up for a membership and enjoy unlimited use of the pool, all summer long.

Since 1963 the Edgewood Pool has been a cherished community resource. It has provided a safe place to come together and learn the life skill of swimming. It is also the home of a beautiful, quiet park and a community garden that produces food for those in need in our local community. We are a community based non-profit that offers a summertime neighborhood retreat to our local families and residents.

Check with  Hustle & Muscle Fitness regarding their fall fitness at the park!

Did you know that Edgewood Pool and Community Center owns the land surrounding the pool?

Which means we are responsible for maintaining the entire park space. If you enjoy using the park in the offseason, please consider purchasing an Edgewood Pool Community Park Membership to help us with maintenance. (This membership does not include entry to the pool.) In the meantime, we’re rolling up our sleeves and tackling the groundskeeping as a board. We are also still raising money for the many other improvements we are hoping to make this year.
